CHANGE OF THOUGHT | THOUGHTS #1

We are just a species of animal that somehow had adapted to become this powerful being; with power over everyone. Let's face it us humans DESTROY EVERYTHING. We've gradually become to acknowledge what we are doing but the information is still being held back by transnational corporations who think about profit over the well being of the planet we live on. Donald Trump evidently doesn't remotely believe in climate change, hence the United States of America not being part of the Paris Agreement because of Trumps pledge that he would rather help to protect America's jobs. The previous generation have done enough to have 'climate change' heard as a major problem and cause for concern. But, in my opinion we aren't given enough information to know how to prevent it or well reverse it (if we can even do that). We've made improvement in solar and wind energy in the UK, but still people don't really recognise it as a massive issue for our species and out livelihood. There's so much meteorological evidence that shows how much this is effecting the planet and its systems; the UK had extremely hot heatwaves in Summer 2017 and piles of snow in the Winter. There's been an increase in the amount of storms and cyclones, earthquakes, drought and famine.
We as the youngest humans and equally probably the most intelligent humans trust each other to know everything about the universe, but how do we know that there's things we have missed or things we don't know, maybe we don't want to criticise our own intelligence to say that we've messed up. We haven't caught climate change at the most serious point, I think it's only going to get worse not better especially when there are powerful people that just don't want to acknowledge the real issue of climate change that is going to effect every single one of us at one point. We know more about space; the energy around us, rather than the oceans living side by side with us. Our intelligence is the premise of our future. What if we've been taught the wrong things about what's going to happen us, what if we've been told the wrong things. I suppose this is my sociological brain going in to overdrive; the argument about what's right and wrong, what's good and bad. How does the truth become the universal truth? With evidence? In terms of climate change there's all this evidence of rising global temperatures and the ice caps melting, but it's only gradually becoming a universal truth that only part of the population is believing. Individualism and individual thought is trickled through our society. You are free to think what you want; freedom of thought. But humanism is the other rippled effect on society; it's dividing us humans with the other animals we live with on this planet, ecosystems, habitats and the overall environment. We can rightfully think and do what we want, both good and bad, but this is the issue that I think is the most important of this generation and our livelihoods. We can't expect governments to do it all for us, legislation's and laws are words set in stone, in this circumstance actions do speak louder than words.

(This is my new series of outburst with what's going on in my head, which is a lot)
Happy Reading!
